Classroom Rules and Policies
The purpose of this class is to create a comfortable environment for everyone to learn in. With that, we will also be learning from each other. This means that everyone must be respectful of their fellow classmates and actively listen while others are speaking.
Classroom Etiquette No texting during class.
Please keep cell phones and any other electronic devices off and out of sight as they provide a distraction for other students and the instructor. No eating or drinking during class. Water is ok. Please use classroom furniture for its intended use. Students should always treat others in the classroom in a respectful manner. |
Ask QuestionsStudents should raise their hand and wait to be called upon if they have a question.
AttendanceStudents should show up on time with the appropriate materials and be ready to learn when the bell rings. Tardiness and truancy will be addressed according to the school’s attendance policy.

Late Assignments and Make Up WorkDue dates for assignments will be announced in class and can also be found HERE on the class website. Please inform the instructor if there are issues or circumstances that prevent the completion of assignments prior to the assigned due date. Make-up assignments and due dates will be allowed only in special circumstances.
Cheating and PlagiarismDo your own work.
Students caught cheating or turning in work that is not their own will receive a zero on the assignment. |
